TPM in Lecce, Italy

 Puglia’s Salento boasts gorgeous beaches, lush farmland, ornate churches, and ancient ruins. It’s also home to many of the foods Italy is famous for! Its deeply-rooted cucina povera tradition means its cuisine tends to be simple and delicious, relying on fresh, local produce. And Puglia and the Salento have lots of fantastic ingredients to choose from—like chickpeas, homegrown herbs and spices, olive and olive oil, tomatoes, and, of course, fresh seafood.

Orecchiette: Literally meaning “small ears” in Italian, this homemade, ear-shaped pasta is usually served with cime di rapa (broccoli rabe) and garlic, or fresh tomatoes and ricotta cheese. The shape is ideal for soaking up any delicious sauce!

 

Often labelled as the “Florence of the South”, this incredibly charming city is one of the must-see in Pulia. Due to the many Baroque monuments which can be found here, Lecce is also best known as a Baroque city. It boasts a marvelous historical centre,  numerous churches and squares, such as St. Mary of Providence, the stunning Addolorata Square and Basilica of the Saint Cross. One of the most striking aspects of Lecce, is the Lecce stone (or pietra leccese) which has been used to construct buildings of the old town. Furthermore, Lecce is definitely a place to indulge in some delicious typical dishes, such as the “rustico leccese”.

Beatbox – forma rytmicznego tworzenia dźwieków – np. perkusji, linii basowej, głosów zwierząt, scratchy za pomocą narządów mowy – ust, języka, krtani, gardła czy przepony. Technika, przez niektórych określana jako hip-hopowy odwrót od maszyn poprzez naśladowanie głosem rytmów i dźwięków, paradoksalnie inspirowana jest estetyką maszynistyczną.
